Gosh, let's keep the status quo!

We are running a huge budget deficit, we have lost millions of jobs since 2000, we have created an aura of distrust of the U.S. despite the overwhelming sympathy that arose from 9/11, we have created prime conditions for the breeding of even more terrorists in the world, we have invaded a country on the a priori pretext that WMD existed when we had no proof and have since been proved wrong, and we are now living in a country so intensely divided by self-centered motives that it appears we have virtually no common ground with each other.
